Hope – trustful expectation

Living with a Biblical hope means facing each day with a trustful expectation to God that exceeds all uncertainty and worry about the future.

Do not worry about tomorrow!

Jesus said: «…do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? …your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.» (Matthew 6:25-34)

God is in control throughout life and death

The Christian hope extends to eternity, and has triumphed over death. The Bible says that Jesus in us is the world’s hope of glory. One day everything will be complete according to God’s plan and will. Life will be triumphant and death will cease to exist. When the time is right, Jesus will come back to bring fair judgment to the living and the dead. We will see Him as He is, be transformed to perfection in God’s image, and live an eternal life together with our creator.

- The Christian hope is the same today and forevermore
