True friendship between Christians who share the same faith and hope is part of the foundation - and the very expression - of God's church.

Jesus taught us that people will understand God's love for them when they see how his followers keep together and love each other in the same way that Jesus laid down his life for others. Friendship as Jesus taught it to us is also inclusive, reaching out to the world around us.
